Have you got a great team at work? Do you get together for evenings out or adrenaline-fuelled sports? How about turning your social events into support for a great cause?

Evelina London holds a special place in many parents’ hearts as so many children from across the country are treated there. If our work resonates with your workplace, get in touch – there’s lots of ways to get involved, from full-scale partnerships to employee fundraising and volunteering.

We have an exciting calendar of challenge events and volunteering opportunities throughout the year. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Enter a corporate team for Guy’s Urban Challenge, our high-octane Run, Spin and Climb event which sees teams race to the top of Guy’s Hospital
  • Have a team cycle day and take part in our RideLondon-Surrey bike ride
  • Dress down at work in crazy colourful clothes
  • Volunteer at a Kia Oval cricket match or at one of our Warehouse fashion sales

You can also explore other great ideas here or share your own events with us.

We’ve been lucky enough to work with some great teams and fantastic partners over the years. Here’s a roll-call of our current corporate supporters.

Kia Oval and Surrey County Cricket Club are our longest-standing partners – and they've just hit a fundraising milestone of £200,000! Over the years, they have hosted teams of volunteers collecting donations at matches, abseiled as superheroes, and run marathons dressed as mascots. Thanks for your commitment!

Warehouse started donating sample stock for Evelina London back in 2011. Since then, its fabulous clothes sales have amassed an amazing £77,600 for the hospital – and kept us looking stylish!  Warehouse also runs our annual Christmas Party and decorates our hospital atrium – what an amazing team.

Berkeley Homes SE London joined us in 2017 and the company has already raised a whopping £66,000, after staff voted us the company’s official charity. So far, the team has notched up £50,000 from a Gaelic football match and another £16,000 through events during 2017. What a great start!

Great Portland Estates and its client companies raised an amazing £42,000 for Evelina London (from a total of £84,000 split between two charities) by cycling a punishing 150 miles from Bournemouth to the team's offices in London. The team took on the challenge to support the hospital after their colleague Ian’s son was treated at Evelina London.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hyde Park joined us in 2017 and raised a stunning £7,502 through staff fundraising events – including from afternoon tea sales. They were also super volunteers throughout the year, raising a record-breaking £3,000 at a Kia Oval cricket collection and supporting our Christmas carol service and gift-wrapping sessions!

Southwark News raised over £100,000 in a four-year appeal that saw staff run the gruelling Marathon des Sables, climb the Three Peaks and even perform the Full Monty! The newspaper team’s energetic efforts funded new equipment for our neonatal unit and supported a project in our hospital school.

Past partners and special thanks

We'd also like to say a big thank you to the following firms for their amazing past efforts.

Lark Insurance supported us from 2011 to 2016, raising £24,000 in the process. The team took on a trip to Kilimanjaro, enjoyed dress-down days, and held cake sales and office drinks to reach that fantastic total!

Gordon & Co organised a ‘Superhero Walk’ with its staff around all the firm’s London offices and raised over £15,000 from just one day. Nice work.

Urbanest held an urban triathlon in its brand new Westminster Bridge building in 2016 and raised £12,000 for Evelina London.

Gateley plc named us charity of the year for 2016-17, as one of its employees is an Evelina London parent. The team collected at stations and took on a Santa Run, as well as fundraising at the office. With the £6370 the firm generously donated, we were able to fund mobile sensory units for children who are unable to leave their beds.

Barings fundraised for Christmas presents in December 2016 and raised an amazing £13,800 from its generous staff. Some of this sum was used to buy Christmas gifts, such as Beats headphones and bracelets for our teenagers. The remainder was donated to the hospital for patient care and hospital improvements.

First Avenue Partners donated £15,000 to our very own Transplant Games team, the Evelina VIPs. This helped us to send children and their families to the British Transplant Games, which they might otherwise have missed out on.

OSKIA, a luxury skincare brand, was started by the parents of Evelina London children. Much to their surprise, their first promo day collected an amazing £7,892 for the hospital. Not a bad start!
