Celebrating and supporting Evelina London at the Kia Oval
On Friday 19th June, over 250 Evelina London staff, patients and supporters were hosted at the Kia Oval for our annual Evelina-themed match. The game was between two local county cricket teams: our hosts and charity partners, Surrey County Cricket Club, and the Kent Spitfires.
The Kia Oval kindly allocated us a block of seats within the cricket ground and arranged for some patients (pictured above) to experience being on the pitch, and even allowed one child, Phillip Clements (far right), to sound the siren for the beginning of the match! Everyone had a great evening of cricket, and, through holding a raffle for Ashes tickets and bucket collections, we raised nearly £3,400 for Evelina London! We are so grateful to the Kia Oval and Surrey County Cricket for supporting us for the past two years, and helping us to have so much fun while raising vital funds for patients and their families.

Don't worry if you missed out, because we still need more volunteers for the T20s, and especially need help collecting on Friday 3rd, 17th and 24th July from 5pm-10pm.
