Get your company involved
There are lots of ways you can support the hospital, and below are just a few ideas to get you started.
Ways to support:
- Charity of the Year - find out if your company has a charity of the year and see if it is possible to nominate us. We can help with the application!
- Team challenges - get a team from work together and boost your friendly competitiveness! Take on Guy’s Urban Challenge, a half marathon, bike ride or abseil together as a team, or come up with your own event.
- Matched funding - boost your fundraising by finding out if your company matches donations to charity.
- Volunteer - have fun, catch some cricket and help us raise money by collecting at the Kia Oval over the summer.
Kia Oval and Surrey County Cricket Club our longest-standing partner who have raised nearly £200k over four years. Over this time they have hosted us to collect at matches, abseiled as the Hulk, run a marathon dressed as mascot Caesar the Lion and this year are planning a 48-hour Guinness World Record length cricket match! Gareth Batty, captain of Surrey CCC is also fundraising for us during 2017 as part of his testimonial year, in thanks for the hospital’s treatment of his daughter last year. Thanks so much to the Kia Oval and Surrey CCC for being an amazing supporting organisation at the heart of the local community. Find out more
New Charity of the Year Partnership: Berkeley Homes SE London. Staff have voted for us to be the official charity of Berkeley Homes SE London for two years, starting in July 2017. We think they will be a great fit for us, as they focus on the same target area of the country and are also interested in innovative buildings! They will aim to raise around £100,000 through the partnership and we’re so excited to be working together. Find out more
Lark Insurance supported us between 2011 and 2016, raising nearly £24,000 through a Kilimanjaro trip, plus regular dress-down days, cake sales and drinks in the office which raised nearly half of their total! They’re a great example of what can be raised through smaller fundraising events and a lot of commitment to the cause. Find out more

OSKIA, a luxury skincare brand, was started by the parents of Evelina London children. They wanted to do something to thank the hospital and, thinking they wouldn’t raise a huge amount but hoping to be successful, ran a promo day. To their surprise they raised an amazing £7,892 by offering customers a 20% discount and donating all that day’s profits to the hospital!
